How to Export MetaMask Transaction History (CSV & PDF)
MetaMask shows activity in-wallet. Reviewers usually want a shareable PDF with balances and a clear trail.

MetaMask activity is public by address, but the wallet interface is not a conventional statement export. Copy the public 0x address, verify that the activity is on Ethereum mainnet, then use an explorer CSV or create a period-based PDF and CSV through CryptoBankStatement.
Never enter a Secret Recovery Phrase or private key. Optional wallet-signed mode uses a read-only message signature and is separate from the standard public-address report.
Choose the correct account and network
In MetaMask, select the account and copy the address starting with 0x. Confirm whether the activity is on Ethereum mainnet, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon or another network. CryptoBankStatement currently covers Ethereum mainnet only. Your Secret Recovery Phrase is never required.
Choose CSV, PDF or both
An explorer CSV is useful for spreadsheet work. A formatted PDF is easier to share with a reviewer. Keeping both preserves a machine-readable ledger and a readable presentation of the same supported address activity.
- Copy the public address and confirm Ethereum mainnet
- Choose ETH, ERC-20 USDC or ERC-20 USDT and the required period
- Preview the statement before payment
- Download the PDF and CSV together
Optional: prove control
If a reviewer asks whether you control the MetaMask account, choose Wallet-Signed Statement and approve the read-only personal_sign challenge. The verify page will show the signature method.

- Does CryptoBankStatement connect to MetaMask by default?
- A standard statement does not require a connection — only the public address. Connection is used for optional wallet-signed signing.
- Can I export activity from the MetaMask app alone?
- MetaMask shows in-wallet activity. For a downloadable history, use the relevant block explorer or a reporting tool; available fields and supported networks differ.
- What if my tokens are on Polygon or Base?
- Those networks are not supported yet. Stick to Ethereum mainnet ETH/USDC/USDT for this tool.
- Is this safe?
- Never share your seed phrase. Public addresses are meant to be shared to receive funds. Signing a read-only message does not transfer assets when you follow the in-product challenge.
- Will my bank accept a MetaMask PDF?
- Acceptance depends on the receiving institution. Ask them what format they need before you submit.
