Self-custody wallet guide
Crypto Wallet Statement (PDF & CSV)
A crypto wallet statement is a dated report of public blockchain activity for one wallet address and asset. CryptoBankStatement supports BTC, ETH, Ethereum-mainnet USDC and USDT, with opening and closing balances, transaction history, fiat estimates, explorer evidence, PDF and CSV output.
Supported scope
| Network | Assets | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Bitcoin mainnet | BTC | Supported |
| Ethereum mainnet | ETH, ERC-20 USDC, ERC-20 USDT | Supported |
Not supported
- Exchange-internal activity
- Layer 2 networks
- Solana and other chains
- Multiple wallets in one statement
How to create the report
- 01
Copy a public receiving address
Use the address for the specific self-custody account you want to document. Never share a seed phrase or private key.
- 02
Choose asset and period
Select BTC, ETH, USDC or USDT and a date range of up to five years.
- 03
Preview and download
Review the free preview, then download the PDF and CSV. Optional wallet signing can add proof of address control for supported flows.
Compare the available records
| Record | Useful for | Limitation |
|---|---|---|
| Wallet screenshot | Quick personal reference | One moment in time; easy to alter; no full ledger |
| Block explorer | Checking individual transactions | Technical and not formatted for reviewer workflows |
| Native wallet CSV | Spreadsheet analysis where available | Availability and fields vary by wallet |
| CryptoBankStatement | Readable PDF plus structured CSV | One address and supported asset per statement |
Anonymized example
A user documenting an Ethereum account selects ETH and a six-month period. The report shows the opening balance, each incoming and outgoing transaction, gas fees, fiat estimates, closing balance and links to the original on-chain records.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I get a crypto wallet statement without connecting my wallet?
- Yes. A standard statement uses a public address only. Optional wallet signing is separate.
- Does it include exchange transactions?
- Only transfers visible on the supported public blockchain. Trades and transfers kept inside an exchange database require the exchange export.
- Can I combine wallets?
- Not in one generated statement. Create one statement per address and label internal transfers in your wider evidence pack.
- Is a wallet statement proof of ownership?
- Activity alone is not ownership proof. A supported wallet-signed statement can prove control of the address at signing time.
