Crypto Proof of Funds for
Visa Applications

Many visa and immigration applications ask for documented financial resources. CryptoBankStatement turns self-custody Bitcoin or Ethereum activity into a bank-style PDF with fiat equivalents. This is a document-organising tool — not immigration advice. Acceptance depends on the receiving authority.

Important: Visa and immigration requirements vary by country, visa type and authority. Confirm accepted proof-of-funds documentation with the relevant authority or a qualified immigration adviser before submitting.

What Authorities Often Ask For

When crypto is included in financial evidence, reviewers typically prefer a dated, structured document over a screenshot — with fiat values and a clear movement trail for the requested period.

Dated statements

Evidence of funds over a specific period, often 3–6 months.

Fiat equivalents

Balances and movements shown in GBP, USD, EUR or another requested currency.

Transaction history

A readable record of inflows and outflows for the selected window.

Professional format

A structured PDF, not a cropped wallet balance image.

Important Limitations

CryptoBankStatement does not create official bank documents and does not provide immigration advice. Some authorities require regulated bank statements only. Optional wallet-signed mode proves address control; it does not guarantee visa acceptance.

Important

CryptoBankStatement is not a bank, accountant, solicitor, tax adviser, immigration adviser or financial adviser. This content is not legal, tax, financial, immigration or banking advice. The receiving institution decides what documents it accepts.

Common Questions

Will embassies or immigration offices accept a crypto statement?

Requirements vary by country and visa type. Some authorities may consider crypto as part of financial evidence; others may not. Always verify with the relevant authority or a qualified immigration adviser before submitting.

Can I get a statement showing GBP or EUR?

Yes. Select your preferred fiat currency when generating the statement. Historical valuations are included for each transaction and the closing balance.

My crypto is on an exchange — can I use this?

No. This tool works with self-custody wallets (for example MetaMask or Ledger). For exchange balances, download history from the exchange itself.

Is the statement signed or certified?

A standard statement organises public blockchain data. Optional Wallet-Signed mode adds a cryptographic proof of address control, but it is still not a certified bank document. For certified statements, consult a qualified professional.

How long a period should I select?

Follow the period your authority requests — often three to six months. Confirm the exact window with your application guidance or adviser.
