Why ETH Needs a Readable Statement

Ethereum activity is public on explorers, but lenders and landlords rarely want a raw Etherscan dump. A proof-of-funds review usually needs dated balances, a transaction trail and fiat context in a familiar document layout.

What You Get

Bank-style PDF

Opening balance, transaction log and closing balance for the period you select.

Fiat equivalents

Historical GBP, USD, EUR or other supported currency estimates per movement.

Verification ID

Third parties can check the statement at /verify/<id> with a checksum.

Important

CryptoBankStatement is not a bank, accountant, solicitor, tax adviser, immigration adviser or financial adviser. This content is not legal, tax, financial, immigration or banking advice. The receiving institution decides what documents it accepts.

Common Questions

Is Ethereum accepted as proof of funds?

Some lenders, landlords and reviewers accept organised ETH documentation as supporting evidence; others require fiat in a bank account. Acceptance depends on the receiving institution. A structured statement is easier to review than a screenshot.

Do I need to share my private keys?

No. Only your public Ethereum address (0x…) is required for a standard statement. Optional Wallet-Signed mode uses a read-only message signature and never moves funds.

Does this include USDC and USDT?

This page focuses on ETH proof of funds. For ERC-20 USDC or USDT on Ethereum mainnet, use the dedicated USDC or USDT statement pages. Ethereum wallet statements can also cover ETH activity on mainnet.

Does it work with MetaMask or Ledger?

Yes for self-custody addresses. Enter the public address from MetaMask, Ledger Live, or another wallet. Exchange omnibus balances are not supported.

How is this different from a Bitcoin proof of funds page?

The workflow is the same — organised PDF/CSV from a public address — but the asset and network are Ethereum mainnet rather than Bitcoin.
